Conversion Manager in iGaming — Messages and calls players who registered but haven't put money in, and takes them to their first deposit (FTD) and then to a repeat one.

What the role involves

People register from ads, but a noticeable share never top up. The conversion manager, known in arbitrage circles as a lead processor, picks these players up: writes to them on Telegram or WhatsApp, sometimes calls, explains how to deposit and claim the bonus, handles objections and takes them to an FD and then an RD. In teams with funnels the first contact is often handled by a bot or AI, and a person steps in once the lead is warm. The work is in shifts, from ready-made scripts, across dozens of conversations at once, with a CRM report at the end of the day. A retention manager works with players who have already deposited and with bonus policy; a CRM manager builds mass campaigns and segments. The conversion manager closes one specific person in a one-to-one conversation.

Bonuses: Most of the income is variable: a percentage of deposit amounts (often around 10%), a fixed payment per FTD or a bonus for average deposit. The base is small; strong processors end up earning from $1,500–2,000 a month.

How to break into the profession

From call centres, phone and chat sales, or support. Many teams only hire with 4–6 months of lead-processing experience, but there are also roles with training from scratch.

Working hours: Shift patterns of 2/2, 3/3 or 6/1, with 10–12 hour shifts, often evenings and nights to match the geo. Almost always remote; you need a stable internet connection and a PC.

Market demand: Hiring comes from arbitrage teams and in-house gambling and betting projects that drive traffic to Telegram and messengers. Processors for Europe, LatAm and Tier-1 geos with languages are especially needed.

A CRM manager builds automated mass communication by segment. A conversion manager has a live one-to-one conversation with each lead and closes them by hand.

How much does a lead processor earn?

A remote base is usually €600–1,600; most of the income comes from a percentage of deposits or a payment per FTD. Experienced processors reach $1,500–2,500 a month.
