B2B Sales Manager (iGaming) — Sells the company's product to operators and teams, whether a casino platform, sportsbook, games, payments or a tracker, and runs the deal from first call to signature.

What the role involves

This isn't selling traffic, it's selling technology. The client comes with a task: launch a casino under a Curaçao licence, add local payment methods in Brazil, switch sportsbook or tracker. The manager finds out what the operator already has, runs a demo with the product team, puts together a commercial proposal and negotiates the setup fee, monthly fee and share of GGR. The sales cycle is long, from one to six months, with lawyers, compliance and technical calls. A big share of leads come from ICE, SiGMA and SBC, and in the end deals are won through relationships with operators' owners and top managers.

Responsibilities

  • Find operators and teams that need the company's product
  • Run demos and presentations of the platform, White Label, Turnkey, games or payment solutions
  • Prepare commercial proposals: setup fee, monthly fee, share of GGR or turnover
  • Take the deal through legal and compliance checks to signature
  • Hand the client over to integration and account management after closing
  • Maintain the pipeline and forecast in the CRM
  • Work the stands at ICE, SiGMA and SBC

How performance is measured

  • Revenue from closed contracts
  • Number of clients signed per quarter
  • Pipeline conversion and sales cycle length
  • Pipeline value for the next quarter

Skills required

Professional skills

  • Knowledge of the B2B landscape: platforms, aggregators, providers, PSPs

  • Basic understanding of licences and regulatory requirements

  • Reaching decision-makers and owners
  • Patience in long deals

FAQ

How is B2B sales in iGaming different from BizDev in traffic arbitrage?

Arbitrage BizDev buys and resells traffic, and deals close in days. A B2B salesperson sells technology to operators on contract, and one deal can take six months.

Do I need gambling experience to sell platforms?

It's desirable but not required. A strong salesperson from SaaS or fintech gets hired if they quickly get to grips with GGR models and licences.

How much does a B2B sales manager earn in iGaming?

Remote, a middle usually earns $2,000–3,200 fixed plus commission on deals. In Cyprus and Malta the base is higher, $3,500–5,000.
