iGaming Recruiter — Finds and hires people for gambling products and arbitrage teams: from support agents and designers to media buyers, developers and Head roles.

What the role involves

An iGaming recruiter works with candidates who rarely sit on job sites: a strong media buyer is in closed chats, a Head of Retention only responds to referrals, and farmers are found through team leads you know. So half the work happens on Telegram and LinkedIn, mixing Boolean search with cold messages and networking at conferences. You have to understand the slang (FTD, creos, setups, RevShare) and tell a buyer who really ran profitable traffic from one who just tells a good story. An in-house recruiter at a holding runs 5–15 vacancies at once; an agency recruiter sells someone else's vacancy and is responsible for the guarantee period.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruitment: candidate profile, search, screening, interviews, offer, start
  • Active sourcing on LinkedIn, in Telegram chats, communities and through referrals
  • Filling niche roles: media buyers, farmers, affiliate managers, VIP, retention
  • Hiring Head and C-level roles in marketing, product and development
  • Working with hiring managers: briefing, agreeing requirements and terms
  • Maintaining the candidate base and pipeline in an ATS or CRM, hiring reports
  • Market research: salary bands, who works where, which teams are breaking up

How performance is measured

  • Number of vacancies filled per month
  • Time to hire by function
  • Share of candidates who pass probation
  • Interview-to-offer and offer-to-start conversion

  • Boolean search and advanced LinkedIn sourcing
  • Telegram search: chats, channels, usernames, network

How to break into the profession

From IT recruitment, HR at digital companies, or support and operations roles within iGaming. Junior sourcers are hired with 6 months of experience and an active LinkedIn profile.

Working hours: Mostly remote, Mon–Fri with a flexible start. Arbitrage teams in Kyiv, Warsaw and Cyprus often ask for office or hybrid.

Market demand: Hiring comes from large iGaming holdings with offices in Cyprus and LatAm, arbitrage and media buying teams, and recruitment agencies for crypto and high-risk. Recruiters with a track record of hiring media buyers and C-level marketing roles are valued most.

FAQ

How is iGaming recruitment different from regular IT recruitment?

Many of the roles aren't tech: buyers, farmers, affiliate and VIP managers. They're found on Telegram and through referrals, and assessing them means understanding traffic, FTD and ROI.

How much does a remote recruiter in gambling earn?

A junior usually starts on a base of around $1,000, a middle earns $1,500–2,300 plus placement bonuses. Strong recruiters who fill Head and C-level roles reach $3,000–5,000 a month including bonuses.

Can I get in without industry experience?

Yes, if you have IT or digital recruitment experience and an active LinkedIn. You pick up arbitrage specifics and slang in the first months, and Telegram sourcing quickly becomes your main skill.
