Game Designer (iGaming)
Dreams up the whole game — theme, mechanics, bonus features and the feel of a spin — and carries it from concept to release together with the mathematician and the artists.
Who is this and what does he do?
A Game Designer in a slot studio works inside tight constraints: the mechanic has to be fresh yet understandable within 10 seconds, the bonus has to make players want to see it through, and the whole construction must fit the maths model and pass certification. You write the game design document, argue with the mathematician over feature frequency, sign off on art and sound, and make sure the release lands in its target market.
