What the role involves
Live casino is the studio floor of Evolution, Playtech Live and Pragmatic Play Live, streaming roulette, blackjack, baccarat and shows like Crazy Time around the clock. The Game Presenter stands at the table under the lights, calls the bets, deals the cards or spins the wheel, and reads the player chat at the same time. Studios run in Malta, Riga, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Bucharest, Sofia, Medellín and Cebu, and they never stop hiring. It is the biggest no-experience door into iGaming: the company pays for 2–4 weeks of training, and what it asks for is a language, clear speech and a willingness to work shifts. Pay depends on the studio: a mid-level presenter in Malta makes €2,000–2,800, while Armenia and Georgia start from €700, with night and language premiums on top.

How to break into the profession
No experience required: studios hire from scratch and train you for 2–4 weeks on full pay. They take former waiters, baristas, actors and cabin crew — anyone who can hold a smile and speak clearly. The route in: apply to a studio vacancy, pass an on-camera casting and a language test, then dealer academy and first shifts on the simpler tables.
Working hours: Studios run 24/7: eight-hour shifts — morning, day, night — rotating week by week with floating days off. You spend 30–60 minutes at a table, then take a 15–20 minute break or move to another table. Night shifts carry a 15–30% premium, and Playtech in the US runs a four-day week.

FAQ
Do I need experience to become a Game Presenter?
No. It is one of the few iGaming roles that hires with zero experience: studios train you themselves for 2–4 weeks and pay you while they do. What you need is a language, clear speech, a tidy on-camera look and a willingness to work shifts.
Which languages are needed, and which pay more?
English at B1 or better opens any studio. Dedicated tables and a 10–40% premium go to native speakers of Turkish, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese — these are exactly the people Evolution and Playtech relocate to Malta and Riga.
How much does a live casino dealer earn?
In Malta a junior makes €1,500–2,000 and a mid-level presenter €2,000–2,800. Riga, Bucharest and Sofia pay €900–1,900, while Yerevan and Tbilisi start from €700. In the US, Playtech and Evolution pay $17–25 an hour with tips. Night shifts and language tables add 15–40%.
How long are the shifts and the training?
A shift is eight hours, spent at the table in 30–60 minute blocks with breaks in between. Studio academy takes 2–4 weeks: game rules, dealing, working to camera, then your first shifts under a supervisor's eye.
