Briefly: as of October 14, 2026, the SpinHire index lists 8 344 open iGaming jobs, and 671 of them state a salary. If you convert every range to a monthly figure and do not mix currencies, the median for dollar-denominated jobs is $7 458 and for euro-denominated jobs €3 000. But the dollar covers two very different markets: in the US and Canada the median is $10 208 per month, while outside them it is $2 625.

Salaries in gambling are usually reported from surveys and recruiter estimates. We took a different approach: we used only what employers themselves wrote in their job ads. The snapshot was taken on October 14, 2026, and it contains 8 344 live jobs, 671 of them with figures. This is not an estimate of “what a role is worth”, but what the market is willing to show a candidate right now, before the first call.

A caveat up front: only 8% of jobs show a range, and not everyone shows it in the same way. We covered why so few do in the report “Only 9% of iGaming job ads state a salary”. Here we look at what is inside those ranges.

How much iGaming pays: median by currency

The ads use seven currencies: 405 jobs in dollars, 162 in euros, 51 in pounds, 27 in hryvnias, 19 in zlotys, 5 in USDT and 2 in lari. The pay periods differ too: 387 jobs state an annual amount, 220 a monthly one, and 56 an hourly rate. We converted everything to a month (annual divided by 12, hourly multiplied by 160) and took the midpoint of the range for each job.

A dollar median without a breakdown by country is misleading: it mixes annual salaries of US sportsbook operators with monthly rates of remote workers from the CIS. The pound median is low for a different reason: 28 of the 51 jobs are hourly shifts in retail betting shops BoyleSports, with a median rate of £13 per hour.

Salaries by function: dollars outside the US

For a Russian-speaking candidate, the most interesting jobs are those paid in dollars outside the US — remote roles and offices in Europe, Asia and the CIS. Below are only those where the amount is stated per month (133 jobs), for functions with four or more ads.

Finance, legal & HR4$1 500$1 412 – $1 525
Player support11$700$650 – $1 150

Development and management pay twice the market midpoint, while player support pays three times less. Affiliates, marketing and casino operations form a tight group around $2 100–2 250. For comparison, within the US the same “Casino operations” function has a median of $10 000 per month across 74 jobs, and support has $2 640 across 12.

Euros: Malta and one agency

There are 161 euro jobs with a stated range, and 112 of them are in Malta, with a median of €3 083 per month. But the same story applies as with the share of ranges: 101 of the 161 euro jobs were posted by a single recruitment agency, JobMatchingPartner. Malta employers who state a range themselves gave only 13 jobs, with a median of €2 967. Among the other countries, only Latvia stands out: 13 jobs, a median of €3 400, and all 13 are Evolution with engineering roles up to €8 000 per month.

Top 10 iGaming jobs by upper end of the range

The highest-paying offers in the index are in dollars and almost all American. Amounts are converted to monthly figures from annual ones.

The top ten consists entirely of product, data and engineering — not a single role from casino operations or marketing. In euros, the highest range in the index is a CFO in Malta, €8 333–12 500 per month; next come a Staff Software Engineer at Fanatics (€8 433–10 542) and a COO in Malta (€9 167).

Job ads versus our estimates

In directory of professions we keep estimates by grade in euros per month. We compared them with Maltese euro jobs where there were enough ads.

  • Accountant — 19 jobs, median €3 333. Our estimate for a middle level in Malta and Cyprus is €2 700–3 500. A match.
  • Compliance manager — 19 jobs, median €3 333, against our middle-level estimate of €3 800–5 200. The ads pay less: many of them are officer and junior positions listed under the general title Compliance.
  • AML officer — 4 jobs, median €4 792 against a middle-level estimate of €3 500–4 800, that is, at the upper bound.
  • Payments manager — 4 jobs, median €2 708 against a middle-level estimate of €3 600–5 000. Below expectations.

The takeaway for negotiation is simple: the public range in an ad is a floor, not a ceiling. We covered how to use this at the offer stage in the article on negotiating +30%, and you can calculate a benchmark for your own role and region in the salary calculator.

Methodology and data

Source: SpinHire's own job index. Jobs that disappeared at the source are archived and are not included in the live snapshot. The snapshot for this report was taken on October 14, 2026: 8 344 open jobs.

  • How we counted. A full paged crawl of the public vacancy API (167 pages of 50 records). The sample includes jobs with filled salary_min and salary_max fields — 671 in total.
  • Conversion to a month. Annual amounts were divided by 12, hourly ones multiplied by 160, and monthly ones taken as they are. 8 jobs with no stated period were excluded. For each job we computed the midpoint of the range; 182 jobs state a single number, in which case the midpoint equals it.
  • Cleaning. We excluded 5 obvious entry errors in USD and EUR — amounts below 300 or above 50 000 per month (for example, an annual rate of 1.8 million euros for a game presenter). 658 jobs were included in the calculation.
  • Currencies were not converted or mixed. The median and quartiles are computed for each currency separately; segments with fewer than four jobs were left out of the tables.
  • Comparison with estimates — based on the salary field in the professions catalog (euros per month, region “Malta and Cyprus”); jobs were matched to professions by title.
