About the Role:
As a Senior JavaScript Game Developer, you will work on browser-based game clients using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies and rendering libraries such as PixiJS.
You will help us build reusable game client components, animation flows, asset loading, interaction systems and front-end architecture that can support multiple games over time.
Your work will directly affect the player experience, game feel, performance and quality of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Build engaging browser-based games using JavaScript/TypeScript
- Develop game clients with PixiJS or similar rendering technologies
- Create reusable front-end components and libraries for future games
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, animators, backend game developers and product owners
- Integrate game clients with backend APIs and game lifecycle services
- Implement smooth animations, transitions and interactive player flows
- Optimize performance across desktop and mobile browsers
- Improve existing code, architecture and documentation
- Participate in technical decisions related to tools, frameworks and front-end architecture
- Write clean, maintainable and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and help raise overall code quality
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to long-term fixes
- Mentor and support other developers as the team grows
Requirements:
- Strong JavaScript experience
- Good understanding of TypeScript or willingness to work with it
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
- Experience with browser-based front-end development
- Good understanding of HTML5 Canvas or browser rendering concepts
- Experience with module bundlers such as Vite, Webpack or similar
- Strong Git knowledge
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Analytical thinking and methodical problem-solving skills
- Ability to write clean and maintainable code
- Good English communication skills
