Odds Compiler
Calculates outcome probabilities and turns them into odds — before the line ever reaches traders and players.
Who is this and what does he do?
If the trader manages the line in real time, the Odds Compiler builds it in the first place. You gather team and player statistics, build a probability model, bake in the margin and produce the opening odds. At modern bookmakers this is increasingly a quantitative role built on Python and statistical models rather than picking numbers by hand.
