Onboarding Compliance (Underwriting) Specialist

BettingJobs are hiring an Onboarding Compliance (Underwriting) Specialist to join the legal team of a global iGaming group.
This role is responsible for conducting KYC and compliance checks, ensuring partners and the Group adhere to all relevant regulatory frameworks and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive KYC and due diligence on new and existing partners
• Assess KYC risk and manage documentation to meet regulatory standards and deadlines
• Monitor compliance with AML, CTF, FATCA, OFAC, and other financial regulations
• Lead compliance reviews during partner onboarding and maintain accurate records
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports
• Support the development and updating of compliance policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for audits and reviews
• Train teams and partners on compliance requirements and regulatory changes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or similar field
• 2+ years' experience in compliance, underwriting, KYC, or a related regulatory role (fintech/iGaming preferred)
• Strong knowledge of AML and financial regulations
• Familiarity with frameworks such as FATCA, OFAC, and gaming regulations
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with compliance and risk management tools
• High ethical standards and integrity
