Head of Compliance - Prediction Markets

In this role you will join our client, a peer-to-peer betting exchange designed for smart bettors who want more value. You will shape the strategy and lead a team to ensure we meet high standards of regulatory and product integrity as we grow new markets and offerings. What you’ll do : Lead the development and execution of the compliance program for prediction markets, including policies, controls, and training Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory requirements; translate changes into practical actions. Build strong relationships with regulatory bodies, ideally with the CFTC, and prepare for examinations and filings. Partner with product and risk teams to plan and launch new markets and products, ensuring regulatory approvals are in place. Lead incident response and remediation, manage internal investigations, and report to leadership with clear insights. Coach and develop the compliance team; promote a culture of integrity across the business. What we’re looking for : 5+ years of experience in sports betting, DFS, trading platforms, fintech, or gaming. Hands-on experience with regulatory bodies; ideally exposure to the CFTC; experience launching new markets. Strong understanding of risk, fraud, KYC, AML, and responsible gambling frameworks. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence across departments. Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
