BettingJobs is partnering with a fast-growing B2B gaming technology group, whose platform and content solutions power operators across a growing number of regulated markets, to find a Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team.
This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value commercial work at a business investing heavily in its product, its people, and its international expansion, and to help shape the legal function as it scales.
The role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Legal Counsel will lead on the drafting, negotiation and management of a broad range of commercial agreements - from software licensing and distribution deals to game supplier, strategic partnership, outsourcing and intra-group arrangements — while acting as a trusted advisor across the business.
It's a role suited to a commercially astute lawyer who enjoys autonomy, thrives on negotiation, and wants genuine influence over legal strategy, process improvement and team development within a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate and execute complex commercial agreements
  • Advise senior leadership on commercial and regulatory risk
  • Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers and partners
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals and amendments
  • Support market entries, product launches and expansion projects
  • Track gambling regulation across multiple jurisdictions
  • Partner with Product, Commercial, Compliance, Finance and Operations
  • Lead legal risk assessments on new products and technologies
  • Manage and select external counsel and specialist advisors
  • Support governance, restructuring and board/shareholder matters
  • Improve legal processes, templates and policies
  • Mentor junior legal team members

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a legal role
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages a plus
  • Experience in gaming or another highly regulated industry
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do mindset
  • Strong analytical and risk-assessment skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels
  • A degree in Law from a reputable university
