Head of Slot Art

BettingJobs is working with a fast-growing slot games studio seeking an experienced Head of Slot Art to own the visual direction and quality of its titles. This is a senior creative leadership role at a studio investing heavily in production quality, where the visual bar is treated as a genuine commercial differentiator.
The role suits an established art leader — not a step-up appointment — who has already run art at a successful slot or casino games studio. You will set the standard for every release, lead and develop the art team, and take full ownership of how the games look and feel from concept through to launch.

Responsibilities:

• Set and maintain the visual quality bar across all titles
• Lead, mentor and develop the art team
• Own creative direction from initial concept through to final release
• Review artwork throughout production, spotting the details others miss
• Ensure characters, symbols, backgrounds, animation and overall presentation come together as a polished whole
• Work closely with game design, animation, development and product teams
• Challenge anything falling short of the studio's standard

Requirements:

• Previous experience as Head of Art, Art Director, Creative Director or equivalent at a successful slot/iGaming studio
• A strong portfolio of commercially released slot games
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong creative eye
• Proven experience leading and developing artists
• Deep understanding of slot art and what makes a game visually appealing to players
• High standards and the confidence to say when something isn't good enough
