Responsibilities

• Implement and support the company’s data warehouse system, including performance tuning and reliability
• Develop ad-hoc report queries, views, and stored procedures using ANSI SQL and PL/pgSQL
• Diagnose and resolve database usage issues, malfunctions, and data integrity problems in PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with developers to optimize application-database interactions, establish best practices, and integrate data access layers
• Write clean, testable code with unit tests, perform code reviews, and implement security principles across backend services
• Actively contribute to architecture discussions, microservices design, and process improvements
• Gather user requirements to identify new features for both data systems and gaming platform modules

Requirements

• 3+ years in software development with Java and Spring framework (2+ years preferred)
• 3+ years with data warehousing, large/complex database systems, and PostgreSQL administration
• Excellent ANSI SQL skills (PL/pgSQL preferred), relational modeling, and database design (OLTP/OLAP)
• Strong object-oriented design, multi-threading, and microservices experience
• Very good knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP protocols
• Excellent understanding of secure, high-quality code practices and unit testing
