Quality Assurance Engineer

The correct candidate for this role will help safeguard the quality of their web and mobile platforms. This is a business putting real investment into its product and testing capability, and the role offers genuine ownership of quality across a fast-moving, high-traffic platform.
The role sits at the centre of the QA process, blending manual and automated testing to keep releases reliable and defect-free. You'll design test strategies, build out automation in Playwright, and work closely with developers, product managers and designers to catch issues early. It would suit an experienced QA engineer who's just as comfortable writing test plans as writing code, and who wants to help shape testing practice on a platform used by high volumes of players.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans and test cases across web and mobile
• Build and maintain automated test scripts, primarily in Playwright
• Run functional, regression, integration and performance testing
• Track and report defects, working closely with developers to resolve them
• Help define test strategy, acceptance criteria and QA best practice

Requirements:

• 2+ years in software testing, with hands-on manual and automated experience
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, with solid Playwright experience
• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), API testing tools and performance testing (k6)
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience; strong written English
• Experience testing gaming platforms or high-traffic applications is a plus
