Finance Manager

A regulated financial institution based in Malta is looking for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of the management accounts, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements within a dynamic insurance environment.
This is an office-based role, offering a salary of up to €45K.
Role & Responsibilities

• Compile and reconcile monthly management accounts under IFRS 17, including the Statement of Financial Position, P&L, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Cash Flow Statement
• Support auditors during the audit cycle and assist with Annual Financial Statements
• Prepare VAT Returns, Recapitulative Statements, and VAT Notices
• Draft monthly cash flow forecasts
• Process payment runs and sales invoices
• Enter data and post to the relevant ledgers
• Submit regulatory reports within deadlines
• Handle other financial and management reporting as required

Education, Skills & Experience

• ACCA qualified or equivalent university qualification
• 2+ years of experience in accounting in Malta– preferably in banking
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Well-organised with excellent time management skills
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy
