Senior Accountant

BettingJobs is working with a fast-growing international iGaming group to find a Senior Accountant. Sitting at the intersection of Finance and the business, you'll analyse performance, support strategic decisions, and drive accurate reporting across a commercially complex, multi-market organisation.
The role
A broad, commercially-minded position covering forecasting, profitability analysis, supplier reconciliations and process improvement. You'll take ownership of supplier issues, exercising judgement around materiality, and work closely with commercial teams to resolve discrepancies. Ideal for an experienced finance professional who wants real influence and enjoys variety across an international group structure. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and controlling accounts and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Investigating supplier reconciliation discrepancies (bonuses, FX, cut-offs) with commercial teams.
• Forecasting supplier expenditure based on revenue, tiers and churn.
• Profitability analysis, comparing actuals to forecasts with the commercial team.
• Supporting month-end, year-end, audit and annual report processes.
• Managing intercompany invoicing, tax reports and payments within approved limits.
• Liaising with international group accountants and tax specialists.
• Assisting with group consolidation and statistical reporting.

Requirements:

• Degree in finance or equivalent, with 3+ years' finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and legislation.
• Excellent Excel skills; Estonian or Maltese is a plus.
• Sharp attention to detail, strong initiative and decision-making.
• Able to prioritise under pressure and tight deadlines.
