Head of Client Accounting

We are recruiting an experienced Head of Client Accounting to lead the accounting function within a regulated Corporate Services Provider in Malta. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading a high-performing team, and building strong client relationships. Your Impact Lead and develop the Client Accounting team, ensuring high performance, and professional growth. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements for a diverse client portfolio. Manage client audits and oversee payroll, VAT, and statutory compliance processes. Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, GAPSME, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance operational efficiency. Build trusted client relationships and work closely with Tax, Audit, and Company Secretarial teams. Monitor changes in accounting standards and support digital transformation initiatives. What we're looking for University degree in Accounting (Bachelor's/Master's), ACCA qualification, or an equivalent professional certification. Extensive experience in a senior accounting leadership role within a CSP or professional services environment. Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams.
