Manual QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual functional testing on land-based products.
• Execute quality checks across SQL databases and log tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Team Lead, developers, and product managers to understand business requirements.
• Define test approach, scope, and priorities for assigned areas, including identification of test types (functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory).
• Thrive in Agile (Kanban) software development model.
• Excellent defect management skills, including clear defect reporting, impact assessment and collaboration on resolution.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for product and process improvements.

Work daily with Git, Jira, and Confluence.

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of working experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of QA theory: principles, methodologies, and testing techniques.
• QA certification.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management (e.g., Jira plus test case management system).
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to think critically about risks, edge cases and user scenarios.
