Senior Infrastructure Engineer (L3)

You will join our client as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Level 3), a global technology services provider delivering enterprise IT solutions to multiple industries. You will provide advanced technical support, design and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions, and serve as the highest escalation point for complex server, network, and virtualization issues. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced managed services environment supporting multiple enterprise clients. As a senior member of the infrastructure team, you will lead design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of secure, scalable infrastructure. You will collaborate with internal engineers and external clients to ensure high service quality and reliable operations, while documenting procedures and sharing knowledge across the team. Key responsibilities: Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise infrastructure environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows Server, desktop, networking, and virtualization issues. Design, deploy, configure, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions. Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and Microsoft 365. Support VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix, and macOS environments. Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery planning, and implementation projects. Work closely with internal technical teams and external clients to deliver high quality managed services. Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share technical knowledge across the team. Requirements: 8+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server and desktop environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Strong expertise with: Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory DNS and DHCP Microsoft Exchange VMware vSphere Microsoft Hyper-V Citrix technologies Windows Desktop and macOS support Experience delivering end-to-end infrastructure solutions within enterprise environments. Strong troubleshooting skills across server, desktop, networking, and virtualization technologies. Experience working in a Managed Services Provider MSP environment is highly preferred. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast paced environment. A proactive, collaborative, and solution oriented mindset. Native or near-native English proficiency is required due to daily interaction with US based clients. Preferred qualifications: Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent). VMware, Citrix, or Microsoft Azure certifications. Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), PowerShell scripting, backup solutions, and enterprise networking technologies.
