The ideal candidate understands acquiring and payment processing in depth, has hands-on experience with Tier-1 markets, and can move fast when something goes wrong. In this role, you will proactively identify root causes and coordinate resolutions independently, without waiting to be told what to do.

Issue Resolution & Investigation
Analyse and resolve payment issues: failed, declined, pending, and unsuccessful transactions.
Investigate transaction cases and identify the root causes of payment failures.
Handle chargebacks, payment disputes, refunds, and reversals.
Provider Coordination & Communication
Communicate and coordinate directly with PSPs, acquirers, payment providers, and internal teams to drive fast resolutions.
Escalate critical payment issues and seamlessly coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders.
Monitoring & Analytics
Monitor the performance, availability, and stability of all payment methods.
Track conversion rates, decline rates, and transaction success rates — quickly identifying anomalies and acting on them.
Analyse payment reports to identify recurring errors, technical issues, and unusual transaction patterns.
Process Optimisation & Reporting
Maintain accurate payment reporting and comprehensive documentation.
Actively participate in improving payment flows, operational processes, and overall payment performance.
🎯 What we’re looking for
2+ years of experience in Payments, Payment Operations, Payment Support, or a similar role.
Market expertise: Proven experience working with Tier-1 markets and international payment flows.
Payment processing knowledge: Strong understanding of acquiring processes, transaction flows, and the roles of PSPs, acquirers, issuers, and payment methods.
Hands-on provider experience: Practical experience working with PSPs, acquirers, payment gateways, and payment aggregators.
Technical depth: Deep knowledge of payment failure reasons, transaction statuses, declines, refunds, reversals, and chargebacks.
Analytical skills: Proven experience monitoring and analysing payment performance and conversion metrics, with the ability to identify root causes quickly.
Autonomy & focus: The ability to work independently, make fast decisions in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritise effectively.
Stakeholder management: Strong communication skills and absolute confidence when dealing with external payment providers.
Language skills: English Intermediate or higher.
✨ What we offer
Fully remote setup.
Direct influence on payment performance and infrastructure across international markets.
Fast decision cycles and absolutely no bureaucracy — when you spot an issue, you own the resolution.
Cross-functional collaboration with the Product, Risk, Antifraud, and Support teams.
Paid vacation and sick days.
