Senior Compliance Manager

BettingJobs is partnering with start-up lottery business, licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, to recruit a Senior Compliance Manager. This is a senior role in a growing organisation that takes regulation seriously. It offers a hybrid setup from Glasgow, Scotland and the chance to shape how the business runs compliance.
You will lead day-to-day regulatory compliance and keep the business ahead of UKGC requirements under its remote casino licence. You will also act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders. The role suits an experienced iGaming compliance professional who wants real ownership and influence and can be both hands-on and strategic.

Responsibilities:

• Own and develop the compliance framework so the business meets all remote casino licence conditions and UKGC codes of practice
• Oversee compliance of RNG-based games, including testing, certification and technical standards
• Monitor regulatory change, assess its impact and lead implementation across teams
• Oversee AML, safer gambling and social responsibility controls
• Manage regulatory reporting, audits and correspondence with the Gambling Commission
• Advise product, marketing and operations teams on compliance risk
• Lead, mentor and develop the compliance team

Requirements:

• Proven senior compliance experience in iGaming, ideally online casino
• In-depth knowledge of the UKGC framework, LCCP, RTS and AML obligations
• Understanding of RNG game testing and certification requirements
• Experience of regulatory audits and engagement with regulators
• Confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders
• Able to work on a hybrid basis in Scotland
