▮ Description

BettingJobs is partnering with an ambitious casino and arcade gaming operator to find a UI/UX Design Engineer who will shape the entire player experience. This is a rare chance to own design end to end, from game interfaces to platform-wide journeys, in a business that's embracing AI to move faster and ship better. The role is full-time on an independent contractor basis.
You'll design across the full product, using AI tools to turn ideas into working prototypes that look and behave almost exactly like the finished release. It's a hands-on, highly visible position. You'll work closely with developers from concept through to production, making it ideal for a designer with a sharp eye for game UI who is comfortable with front-end code and excited by AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Design across the whole product, including web game UI, cashier and platform UX flows, event hubs, rewards features and platform-wide optimisations
  • Build working prototypes, UX flows and states with Claude and other AI tools, closely mirroring the production version
  • Write clear hand-off documents that define UX scope and states for the development team
  • Partner with developers on concept walkthroughs, QA in staging and monitoring of production releases

Requirements:

  • Proven UI design experience in casino and/or arcade gaming
  • Advanced Figma skills, including components, auto layout and prototyping
  • A portfolio that shows a strong eye for game UI
  • Active, hands-on use of Claude or similar AI tools to build working prototypes
  • Experience working directly with development teams and a solid grasp of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
