About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to join a fast-growing, multi-jurisdictional iGaming operator. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of regulatory and technical compliance across a substantial international licensing portfolio (15+ licenses).
This role requires relocation to Cyprus. Candidates not open to relocating will not be considered.

A well-established and rapidly expanding operator in the online casino and betting industry, holding a broad portfolio of regulatory licenses across multiple jurisdictions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end compliance function across a multi-license operator portfolio
• Oversee technical compliance, ensuring platform and product alignment with regulatory requirements across all operating jurisdictions
• Manage compliance operations on a day-to-day basis, including policy implementation and regulatory reporting
• Lead and coordinate regulatory audits and liaise with external auditors and test labs
• Oversee test lab certification processes for products and systems
• Manage and develop a team of compliance professionals, including direct reports
• Monitor regulatory developments across key markets and advise the business on emerging requirements
• Act as a key point of contact for regulators and licensing authorities

Candidate Requirements
Industry Background

• Must come from an iGaming background (online casino/betting operators) — candidates from forex or general fintech will not be considered

Regulatory Experience

• Must have experience in regulated markets (grey market experience only will not be accepted)
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following licenses is essential: • UK Gambling Commission (UKGC)
• Spain (DGOJ)
• Sweden (Spelinspektionen)
• Ontario (AGCO/iGO)
• Germany (GGL)
• Malta (MGA)

Compliance Expertise

• All-round compliance background, including: • Technical compliance
• Compliance operations
• Audit involvement and management
• Test lab certification processes

Leadership

• Proven experience managing teams, including direct line management responsibility

Relocation

• Must be willing and able to relocate to Cyprus — this is a non-negotiable requirement
