QA Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced QA Team Lead to join our team and take ownership of the quality assurance process across our brands. Previous experience in a QA Lead or Senior QA role is required, while experience in the iGaming field will be a huge plus.
We are looking for someone who can be hands-on with testing while also leading the QA team, improving processes, and working closely with Development and Product teams to ensure our customers get the best experience possible

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Manage the QA team, including task allocation, workload, and capacity management;
Plan QA resources according to current tasks, product priorities, and release needs;
Break down QA tasks, prioritize them, and distribute workload across team members;
Monitor task progress, deadlines, and the quality of QA engineers’ work;
Conduct regular QA sync meetings to ensure effective team communication and alignment;
Prepare reports on QA team performance, task status, workload, and testing quality;
Participate in operational and product meetings, represent the QA team, and ensure alignment with Product, Operations, and other departments;
Plan and coordinate QA activities, including functional, smoke, regression, and sanity testing;
Analyze defects and assess their impact on the product;
Build, improve, and maintain QA processes, testing standards, internal practices, and tools;
Ensure the quality of test documentation and conduct reviews of test cases, checklists, and test plans;
Mentor and develop QA engineers, providing regular feedback on their performance and growth;
Participate in the recruitment, technical assessment, onboarding, and adaptation of new QA engineers;
When necessary, participate hands-on in testing complex or critical functionality to support the team and ensure release deadlines are met.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE:

2+ years of QA experience, including commercial experience in manual testing;
Hands-on experience testing both web and mobile products;
Strong understanding of core QA processes, testing methodologies, and testing types;
Experience with task management, test documentation, and communication tools such as Jira, Notion, Slack, or similar;
Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential risks, and define the appropriate testing scope;
Previous experience managing a QA team or performing QA Lead / Senior QA responsibilities with leadership ownership;
Strong task management and capacity planning skills;
Experience mentoring and developing QA engineers;
Ability to establish and optimize internal QA processes and improve team efficiency;
High level of ownership, accountability, and independence.

Nice to Have

Experience working with iGaming / Gambling / Betting products;
Experience building QA processes from scratch or significantly improving existing QA processes;
Experience working in a fast-paced product environment;
Experience with release management and cross-functional collaboration.
