Risk Agent

BettingJobs is currently working with an established iGaming provider based in Sofia that is seeking a Risk Agent to join their team. The Risk Agent will work closely with the Fraud teams to analyse and report on activity across Casino and Sportsbook operations.
The Risk Agent role would be well suited to an individual with experience in data analysis and risk modelling who has previously worked in the iGaming industry.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate suspected fraudulent activities, collaborating with external and internal parties as required.
• Maintaining and optimising key alert systems to report impactful incidents in real time or in advance.
• Verification and detection of perfect play and syndicate activity. Verification and detection of profitable gambling activities, with appropriate action taking for future protection with appropriate teams.
• Oversee collaborative efforts with all brands and product teams to accurately and consistently profile players.
• Analysis of promotional mechanisms.
• Run and monitor all frequency-based reporting mechanisms, or tool alerts/reports as required to assist with real-time monitoring.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year in a fraud and risk or related position within the gaming industry.
• Subject matter expert in risk across online gaming operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis, risk modelling and fraud detection techniques specific to online gaming.
• Degree in a related field preferred.
• A collaborative mindset to be willing to work alongside customer support and other fraud teams as many cases will involve significant overlap.
