Our client, a well-established and respected Corporate Service Provider based in Malta, is currently looking for an ambitious and driven Tax Executive to join their team of experienced and dedicated professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to support the team with tax compliance procedures for a diverse portfolio of clients, while managing and building lasting client relationships.
This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €34K + performance bonus.
Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation of corporate tax documentation for a diverse client portfolio
  • Assist senior team members with preparing tax returns for individual clients
  • Support senior team members with client queries
  • Gather client information for assessments related to international tax matters, including Transfer Pricing
  • Handle administrative duties connected with tax filings and ensure documents are submitted on time
  • Keep internal monitoring reports accurate and up to date
  • Organise, file, and maintain relevant documentation
  • Assist with the completion of tasks related to internal company procedures for the tax team
  • Work collaboratively with the team by suggesting process improvements and contributing to high levels of client satisfaction

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor in Accountancy or currently pursuing a relevant qualification, such as ACA or ACCA
  • Up to two years of experience in tax or accounting within a Maltese entity
  • Fluency in Maltese and English both written and spoken - non-negotiable
  • Knowledge of the Maltese tax system, together with a willingness to develop further expertise
  • Strong sense of responsibility, commitment to completing tasks, and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as SAGE
  • Professional and ethical approach when handling confidential financial information
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
