Our client is a peer-to-peer betting exchange designed for smart bettors who want more value. You will join a remote-first finance team as the US Financial Controller and lead the financial function for the US arm, reporting to the CFO and coordinating with our client's global finance group. This is a hands-on, strategic role with one vacancy to build controls, processes, and reporting as you help the business enter a regulated market. You will work remotely in a US-based setup and help shape the financial foundation for a new prediction platform. Your responsibilities and requirements: Regulatory financial compliance & reporting: lead US GAAP reporting, ensure CFTC rules compliance, manage audits and regulatory filings. Financial operations & management accounting: own the US general ledger, month-end close, treasury, customer fund segregation, and reconciliation processes with strong controls. Strategic planning & analysis: partner with the CFO on budgets, rolling forecasts, KPIs, and board-level reporting. Governance & collaboration: coordinate with the central Group Finance team, external auditors, and banking partners; align with product roadmaps and compliance. Qualifications & experience: CPA, 7+ years in regulated US financial services; deep US GAAP, SOX/COSO, and regulatory procedures; direct experience with a CFTC-regulated entity is highly preferred.
