BettingJobs is working with a fast-growing sports betting and gaming technology business that is scaling its team and infrastructure, and we are looking for a hands-on, service-oriented IT Administrator to take ownership of the day-to-day IT environment.
As IT Administrator you will be the go-to person for everything relating to employee hardware, software, accounts, networking and technical support. You will own onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, maintain the asset and licence inventory, keep the office network and meeting-room technology running smoothly, and work alongside the DevOps and Security teams on endpoint and infrastructure matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, phones and other employee equipment
  • Install, configure, update and maintain software across employee workstations
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts and access to company applications
  • Provision and deprovision accounts during employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system and connectivity issues, providing day-to-day technical support to employees
  • Maintain office Wi-Fi, LAN, printers, meeting-room equipment and wider IT infrastructure
  • Configure and troubleshoot network equipment including routers, switches and access points
  • Maintain IT asset and equipment inventories, and manage software licences and subscriptions
  • Ensure workstations are properly updated, patched and built to agreed configuration standards
  • Assist with endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, device encryption and security policies
  • Support remote-access and VPN solutions, and troubleshoot common DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP issues
  • Coordinate with internet service providers, hardware and software vendors and other external IT partners
  • Maintain IT documentation, procedures, asset records and troubleshooting guides
  • Support office technology setup, including meeting rooms, video conferencing and shared equipment
  • Identify recurring technical problems and implement solutions that reduce support requests
  • Work closely with the DevOps and Security teams, and scale IT provision as the company and engineering team grow

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' professional experience in IT administration, IT support, systems administration or a related role
  • Strong experience administering Windows workstations and Windows environments
  • Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting desktop and business software
  • Experience with user account and access management
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs and basic routing
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems
  • Experience managing laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and other IT equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or a similar productivity platform
  • Experience with endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, patch management and device security
  • Experience managing IT assets and software licences
  • Experience with remote support and troubleshooting tools
  • Good understanding of information security and secure IT practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and spoken English
