Head of Acquisition

BettingJobs is partnering with an ambitious multi-brand iGaming operator to appoint a Head of Acquisition. This is a senior, high-impact hire at a business that's investing in growth and wants a diversified, scalable acquisition engine that isn't dependent on any single partner or traffic source. The role is based in Malta.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll own customer acquisition strategy and targets across the group's brands. You'll bring affiliates, performance marketing, sportsbook acquisition, SEO and creator channels together under one commercially driven approach. The role suits a strategic acquisition leader with strong knowledge of player economics who wants to shape the function and grow the organisation as channels scale.

Responsibilities:

• Own acquisition strategy, targets and budget allocation across all brands, based on commercial performance
• Diversify and scale channels, and identify and test new sources of players
• Reduce reliance on individual partners, platforms and traffic sources
• Coordinate affiliates, performance marketing, sportsbook acquisition, SEO and creator activity
• Manage acquisition economics, including FTDs, CPA/CAC, NGR, LTV and payback
• Work with Marketing Analytics to understand player quality by source
• Lead senior acquisition team members and build out the wider acquisition organisation

Requirements:

• Strong iGaming acquisition background, with experience managing significant budgets
• Australian market experience (including offshore) is highly regarded
• Detailed understanding of affiliate and paid acquisition, including CPA, rev share and hybrid deal structures
• Knowledge of creator and influencer acquisition is an advantage
• A strong commercial and analytical mindset, with a firm grasp of CAC, NGR, LTV and payback
• Proven experience managing and developing teams
