Database Administrator

About us:

ODDS Tech is a software company focused on developing and refining an innovative B2B iGaming solution that brings together sports betting, online casino, payments, and CRM for clients worldwide.
We are expanding our technical team and are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to help us keep our data layer fast, reliable, and scalable. Our platform processes high volumes of real-time transactions across multiple database technologies, so databases are at the very heart of what we do.
Joining us, you will own and shape the databases behind brand-new projects as well as mature, high-traffic systems — working closely with developers, DevOps, and other team members to keep everything running smoothly at scale.

What you’ll be doing:

• Administer, monitor, and optimize our Microsoft SQL Server databases (performance, availability, backups, and security);
• Write and tune complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions;
• Design and maintain indexing strategies, execution plans, and query performance across high-load systems;
• Proactively monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and prevent bottlenecks before they happen;
• Plan and support high availability, backup/restore, and disaster-recovery strategies;
• Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams on schema design, migrations, and deployments;
• Contribute to database standards, best practices, and mentoring across the team.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (or another major relational database);
• Strong T-SQL skills and solid experience with stored procedures and functions;
• Proven experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing;
• Hands-on experience with backups, restores, high availability, and monitoring;
• Confidence with tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS);
• Strong work ethic and a collaborative, team-first mindset.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ScyllaDB;
• Good understanding of ClickHouse;
• Experience with high-throughput, real-time or distributed data systems;
• Experience in the iGaming or FinTech field is considered a strong plus.
