Senior Mathematician

About the Role:

A hands-on senior role on the math behind our slots – building models, running simulations, validating the numbers.

Responsibilities:

• Turn a game brief into a working model that lands on its RTP, volatility, hit frequency, max win and feature targets
• Put the model through heavy simulation and check the statistics hold
• Break down how a game performs and call out what needs tuning
• Pair with backend engineering so the model runs in the build the same way it runs on your machine
• Act as a reliable second read on the team’s work – catch what slipped through, weigh in during reviews

Requirements:

• Slot math you’ve actually shipped, spanning more than one kind of mechanic and game
• A solid grounding in probability, combinatorics and statistics
• You write your own simulations and check your own models – in Python, JS/TS or similar
• A sharp eye for the small mistakes in a model, and the ability to explain the numbers to non-mathematicians
• A habit of reaching for new tools, AI among them, wherever they cut real time off simulation, prototyping or validation

Nice-to-have:

• Understanding of what certification demands in different markets
• Familiarity with how slot math lands on the backend, or comfort working alongside engineers
