Audit Manager
Up to €40K
▮ Description
Our client, an international audit, tax, and advisory firm, is currently looking for an Audit Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver tailored, high-quality assurance services to a diverse client base and to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and supportive environment.
This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €40K.
Please note that due to the urgency of the role, only candidates who are based in Malta can be considered.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage, build, and maintain relationships with a diversified portfolio of clients
- Lead and mentor team members, and perform technical reviews of their audit work
- Manage the preparation of engagement plans while ensuring appropriate resources are assigned
- Negotiate fees alongside the partner and take commercial responsibility for each client's profitability
- Identify client needs and support partners in developing tailored solutions
- Carry out sales activities with clients
- Develop and coach staff, providing regular, constructive appraisals
Education, Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified Accountant
- 5+ years of experience in auditing in Malta
- Previous experience in leading and mentoring junior team members
- Fluency in Maltese and English, both written and spoken
- Experience in auditing of igaming or financial services companies are preferred
- Proactive with a positive can-do attitude
