What you’ll build with us:

This role sits at the intersection of traditional technical SEO and hands-on building. Identify opportunities, investigate issues and implement solutions, using code, automation, APIs, data and AI/LLM-assisted workflows to cut manual work, sharpen quality assurance and speed up delivery for the team. Expect close collaboration with Engineering, Product, CRM, Marketing and Content.

The impact you’ll make:

• Run technical SEO audits across crawling, indexation, rendering, site architecture, internal linking and performance
• Investigate technical SEO issues and get to the root cause using crawling tools, dev tools, source code, Search Console and log/data analysis
• Manage and implement structured data and schemas across website templates and individual pages
• Build and improve internal SEO tools, scripts and automated workflows that cut repetitive manual work
• Put AI and LLMs to work on analysis, content operations, QA and workflow automation
• Make ad-hoc technical and content fixes on Stake.com
• Monitor site health and get ahead of issues before they hit organic performance
• Turn technical findings into clear reporting for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Your track record:

• 2–5 years' experience in SEO, Technical SEO, web development, digital analytics or a related technical discipline
• Strong understanding of fundamental technical SEO concepts: crawling, indexing, canonicalisation, redirects, internal linking, sitemaps, robots directives and structured data
• Comfortable working with websites and Content Management Systems
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate technical problems independently
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline is preferred

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience with SEO tooling such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush or Google Search Console
• Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, SQL or data querying
• Experience with coding and programming principles
• Ever looked at a repetitive SEO task and thought "I could probably automate this"
