Research Analyst

Our client, a well-established investment company licensed by the MFSA and a member of the MSE, is currently looking for a Research Analyst to join their team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to build a career in investment research and portfolio management, while working with experienced professionals and contributing to the management of Morningstar-rated investment funds. You will be participating in discussions related to micro and macroeconomic developments, investment strategies and financial markets. Candidates who have just completed their Degree are highly encouraged to apply.
This is a hybrid role that offers a salary up to €25K plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and contribute to the team's investment process and internal procedures
• Assist the team with daily operational tasks
• Review and maintain internal investment tools
• Oversee daily risk-related duties and perform risk analysis
• Prepare research reports on listed companies or specific countries
• Assist portfolio managers with the allocation and communication process

Education, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor in Banking and Finance, Accounting, or an investment-related degree (or similar)
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Experience as an investment analyst is a plus
• Good knowledge or interest in financial markets
• Analytical with good time management skills
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous and capable of working under pressure
• Tech savvy or having analytical IT skills is a plus
