Junior Research Analyst

Our client, a well-established investment company licensed by the MFSA and a member of the MSE, is currently looking for a Junior Research Analyst to join their asset management team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in financial markets to kickstart a career in investment research and portfolio management, gaining first-hand exposure to the decision-making behind the process.
This is a hybrid role, offering a salary of up to €20K, plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities

• Support the research and investment team with routine operational and admin activities, including reviewing and maintaining internal investment tools
• Assist in conducting financial and risk analysis
• Assist in the preparation of research reports and support the team with the allocation and communication process

Education, Skills & Experience

• Experience as an investment analyst or an investment-related diploma/degree is a plus
• Good knowledge and an interest in financial markets
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Analytical with good time management skills and the ability to work independently
• A meticulous person capable of working under pressure when necessary
• Tech savvy or having analytical IT skills is a plus
