Finance Operations Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Operations Specialist to support the financial processes of our media buying department. In this role, you will manage reconciliations, payments, reporting, and financial documentation while helping improve and automate existing workflows.
The ideal candidate is confident working with large volumes of financial data, has strong Google Sheets skills, and understands the specifics of finance operations within media buying or performance marketing teams.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Perform weekly and monthly expense reconciliations across media buying teams.
Analyze agency expenses, identify discrepancies, and resolve financial issues.
Request payouts from affiliate programs and maintain salary and payment registers.
Process contractor payments and calculate team bonuses.
Calculate required deposit amounts on a weekly, 14-day, and 28-day basis.
Monitor balances across payment accounts and advertising platforms.
Collect, verify, and track recurring payments, including subscriptions, software, and services.
Maintain and update DDS, P&L, and cash flow statements for the department.
Prepare financial reports and reconciliations for affiliate partners.
Create and maintain clear financial documentation, spreadsheets, and internal procedures.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using Google Apps Script, JavaScript, and AI tools.
Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting accuracy.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
1–2+ years of experience in operational finance, accounting, financial controlling, or financial operations within media buying teams.
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data imports.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset.
Basic knowledge of Google Apps Script or JavaScript is a strong advantage.
Experience in iGaming, affiliate marketing, or performance marketing is a plus.
Experience using AI tools to automate financial or operational processes is an advantage.
