Venue Manager

BettingJobs are working with a well established multi-site Bingo and Gaming hall business located in Dublin, hiring a Venue Manager for one of their busy bingo and gaming venues in Dublin, overseeing the team and customer day to day.
This role is ideal for a leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, driving commercial performance, and building a capable, engaged, and accountable team in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set visible standards for customer care and ensure the venue provides a welcoming, respectful, inclusive and consistent experience.
• Ensure employees act as positive ambassadors for the venue and understand the customer-service standards expected of them.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and fairly, review recurring themes and implement corrective action.
• Ensure vulnerable customers are treated appropriately and responsible-gambling and customer-protection requirements are followed.
• Monitor the venue's presentation, atmosphere, cleanliness, and accessibility, and address shortcomings promptly.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence
• Drive sales, profitability, and key business targets
• Manage staffing, recruitment, coaching, and performance
• Ensure compliance with Gaming Regulations, Responsible Gaming, AML, Health & Safety, and all relevant policies and procedures
• Oversee cash management and security, ensuring all assets, information, and property are safeguarded according to best practices
• Foster a positive, engaging, and high-performing workplace culture

Requirements:

• Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, leisure, retail, gaming, or similar customer-focused roles
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Commercial awareness and ability to drive business results
• Hands-on management style with ability to motivate and develop teams
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Gaming industry experience is a plus, but not essential
