About the Hiring Company:

We are a B2B sportsbook technology platform with R&D in Bulgaria, powering operators across Europe and Latin America. We are entering a defined transformation period: rebuilding the foundations of the product and the operation with senior people who lead, and AI and automation built behind them, before the next phase of growth.
Our operators compete against the best sportsbook experiences in the world, and increasingly they build or customise their own front ends.
The job is to extend and optimise it: new backend feature support (bet builder, cash-out, live betting, personalisation, settlement) and APIs that are easy to build on.
This role owns that product strategy, and something bigger: the future of product, and what product management and the R&D process become when AI does much of the build. It is a builder’s role, done next to the engineers, not from a distance.

Job Requirements:

• Lead the product team day to day and own how ideas become specifications, builds and releases
• Own how product works in the AI world: the operating model for specification, prototyping and validation when AI-assisted engineering does much of the build
• Extend and optimise SportOS: API coverage, new feature support, versioning, developer experience and documentation, making it easy for operators to build on
• Deliver the tier-1 capability audit: a feature-by-feature comparison against the leading operators, mapped to backend features and SportOS APIs, with a sequenced plan to close it
• Own the roadmap and prioritisation with operators, Trading and Engineering
• Represent the product to key operators and prospects

What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months:

• Product-to-R&D cycle visibly faster and higher quality, with clear ownership
• Tier-1 capability audit complete within the first quarter, with the top gaps in build as backend features and APIs, dated
• New backend features and SportOS API releases shipped and adopted by operators in production
• A product operating model for the AI era that other departments copy
• A roadmap the commercial team can sell against

The Successful Candidate:

• Has built product directly with engineering and R&D teams, embedded day to day, shaping specifications and trade-offs at the technical level; not a high-level business product or B2C-to-supplier profile
• Deep experience of product and R&D process: has built and managed product teams and the development process itself, not only roadmaps
• Has a clear, practised view of how product management changes when AI does much of the build, and wants to define it
• AI-first in the way they work: AI tooling is the default in specification, prototyping and validation, and they expect the same of the team
• Comfortable with operators and able to trade scope against revenue
• Sportsbook or betting experience is a plus, not a requirement
