About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce System Administrator to support our organisation’s Salesforce platform. This role involves maintaining, configuring, and improving our Salesforce systems to ensure they align with business objectives and provide a seamless experience for end-users. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, a strong technical background, an analytical approach and be proactive in problem-solving.
Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations, including system configuration, user setup, roles, permissions, and access control.
• Monitor and ensure the performance, reliability, and availability of the Salesforce environment.
• Maintain data integrity and security, including regular data uploads, backups, and field audits.
• Handle all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
• Implement and manage Salesforce customizations, such as page layouts, fields, and record types.
• Develop and configure custom objects, validation rules, and formulas to meet organizational needs.
• Create and update process automation, workflows, and flows in Salesforce to optimize business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into system design, and deploy new features.
• Oversee data imports, data cleanup, deduplication, and enrichment processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to support business needs and provide insights for decision-making.
• Assist users in generating ad-hoc reports and ensure accuracy in data interpretation.
• Provide daily support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and respond to help desk requests.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for new and existing users.
• Promote best practices in data entry, usage, and Salesforce functionality across the organization.
• Keep the system up to date with Salesforce releases, upgrades, and patches.
• Test and deploy new Salesforce functionalities and third-party integrations as needed.
• Maintain existing integrations with other third-party apps used for KYC, Contract Management, Legal review, etc. Such tools include but are not limited to Slack, Zendesk, Persona, JIRA, Docusign CLM, Cetinia, etc.
• Work with external vendors, consultants, and developers on various projects.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, data privacy, and Salesforce’s security standards.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Stay current with Salesforce updates, new features, and industry trends to improve system performance and health.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification is required; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role.
• Proficiency in Salesforce platform functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein and Scheduler.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM best practices, customization, and configuration.
• Ability to manage complex tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
