We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and supporting overall financial performance across the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports with high accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Lead and maintain effective budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with various departments
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring timely submission
  • Coordinate internal and external audits by providing required documentation and insights
  • Manage cash flow reporting and projections, identifying potential risks and growth opportunities
  • Support cost management initiatives through cost reporting and variance analysis
  • Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Assist in developing accounting policies, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive effective collaboration

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CA(SA) qualification and post-articles experience would be advantageous.
5–8 years of relevant work experience
Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Experience with tax regulations, payroll processing, auditing, and internal controls
Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
